Staff Sgt. Marines used protective equipment and specialized tools to safely disable IEDs during the training. The 31st MEU provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations, from limited combat to humanitarian assistance, throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region as the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU.
