The Coast Guard Navigation Center’s Ports and Waterways Safety Assessment (PAWSA) Waterway Risk Model with 24 risk categories. This model was used in the Hudson River PAWSA Workshop in Poughkeepsie, NY, Nov. 7-8, 2017. The PAWSA is a long-standing process that will help improve the Coast Guard’s and connected stakeholders’ understanding of the safety and environmental risks on the Hudson River.
