171026-N-PE825-0049 ATLANTIC, N.C. (Oct. 26, 2017) A Sailor assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 2 checks an unmanned aerial system prior to flight during Exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (BA17) at Marine Corps Outlying Field (MCOLF) Atlantic. EODGRU 2 is serving as the Navy Expeditionary Combat Task Force commander for the exercise. Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
