An Afghan National Army soldier from the 5th Kandak directs the driver through a series of cones during a mission readiness exercise at Forward Operating Base Delaram, Afghanistan, April 11, 2011. In addition to driving in reverse, the exercise required the soldiers to pull a vehicle out of a ditch and perform preventive maintenance on tactical vehicles with little to no help from Marines with the Embedded Partnering Team, Combat Logistics Battalion 8, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward).
