    The Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. David A. Sprynczynatyk, from Bismarck, N.D., presents the Legion of Merit to retired Command Sgt. Maj. Jack W. Cripe Jr., Dickinson, on his retirement, for exceptionally meritorious service in a 29 year career with the North Dakota National Guard. Cripe served as the NDNG State Command Sergeant Major, and deployed to Kosovo in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as the First Maneuver Enhancement Brigade Command Sergeant Major. The retirement ceremony was held at Raymond J. Bohn Armory, Bismarck, April 3.
