1st Lt. Chelsea Truax, occupational therapist, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, works with a patient performing hand movements and exercises at WBAMC’s Hand Clinic, Aug. 28. Truax, a native of York, Pennsylvania, was recently selected to participate in the U.S. Army Doctor of Science in Occupational Therapy Program, an 18-month-long Baylor University Graduate School program designed to train and educate advanced practicing occupational therapists to maximize military readiness, healthy living and performance optimization through evidenced-based, client-centered patient care.
