An E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 116, performs a fly by as sailors join family members and friends to watch an air power demonstration aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) during a tiger cruise. A Tiger Cruise provides an opportunity for family and friends of sailors to share the experience of being underway on a Navy ship. Abraham Lincoln is returning home from a six-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
