    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Pfc. Kevin Gray and Cpl. David Milburn, loadmasters with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, direct a forklift driver to position a palette of bottled water and Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear gear inside a KC-130J Super Hercules aircraft at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, March 16. More than 140 cases of bottled water and CBRN gear will be delivered to Marines in mainland Japan in support of Operation Tomodachi. Marines and sailors from III MEF are actively providing support for foreign humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations in mainland Japan. The name Tomodachi, which means “friends” in Japanese, was chosen by the government of Japan.
