PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – A Lockheed C-5 Galaxy military aircraft stands ready to unload equipment of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), out of Fort Campbell, Ky. to support possible Hurricane Irma relief efforts at Patrick Air Force Base, Sept. 12. While the division has not received orders to deploy personnel or equipment to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Support of civil Authorities mission, it remains ready to respond to this or any contingency.
