    SILSBEE, Texas (Sept. 2, 2017) – Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class John Hardin, a native of Greeneville, TN and assigned to a detachment of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 14, prepares to land in an MH-53E Sea Dragon Helicopter to deliver food and water to Hurricane Harvey victims. The detachments from HM-14 and another from HM-15 provided thousands of Meals-Ready-to-Eat (MREs) and bottled water to citizens in the Houston Area. U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) sent personnel and assets to bolster Northern Command's support of FEMA's assistance to federal, state and local authorities ongoing relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Hurricane Harvey formed in the Gulf of Mexico and made landfall in southeastern Texas, bringing record flooding and destruction to the region.
