Pat Katzer, show here during a deployment in 2009, recently provided network engineering to establish a more robust communications infrastructure in support of the Global Hawk mission at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. Katzer is a network systems engineer at the Air Force Network Integration Center at Scott AFB, Ill., and specializes in command and control intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance telecommunications engineering.
