Spc. Terrell Coleman (left), Capt. Keith GeRue (center), Army chaplain, and Sgt. Joseph Place of the 646th Regional Support Group (RSG) participated in a guided tour of the 1st Cavalry Stables of Fort Hood, Texas on July 27, 2017. The stables are part of the 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment which is a United States Army equestrian unit that was activated in 1972. The 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment participates in many events on Fort Hood such as change of command and medal ceremonies, as well as riding demonstrations and local civic events. The 646th RSG is an Army Reserve Unit from Madison, Wisconsin is currently providing support for units mobilizing from and returning to Fort Hood.
