U.S. Army Col. Fred Allen of Delavan, Ill., commander of the Illinois National Guard's 1-14th Agribusiness Development Team and U.S. Army Col. Craig Bargfrede of Ankeny, Iowa, commander of the Iowa National Guard's 734th Agribusiness Development Team, discuss a presentation on Aghan agriculture at the Shishem Bagh Research Station Jan. 28. The Iowa ADT has been working to develop the agribusiness sector in Afghanistan's Kunar Province since last July. The Illinois ADT is slated to relieve the Iowa ADT in Afghanistan's Kunar province in June. Allen, Bargfrede and members of the current and incoming Missouri ADTs met in Jalalabad Jan. 28 for an ADT conference.
