Coast Guard investigates boating collision in La Parguera, Lajas, Puerto Rico

A photo of the commercial passenger vessel La Nena II following a boat collision with a recreational vessel Tuesday night just off La Parguera in Lajas, Puerto Rico. The U.S. Coast Guard along with other local agencies will be conducting an investigation to try to determine the causal factors that led to the collision and prevent other similar events from taking place in the future. So far, 21 people were reported to have sustained injuries and passengers from both vessels have been accounted for.
