Staff Sgt. Maurice Horstead, a native of Enterprise, Ala., and a network systems technician serving with Third Army, connects an Ethernet cable to a laptop enabling the computer access to a larger network of machines. Horstead performs routine maintenance on machines to keep Third Army Ready Tonight. Since joining the Army in 2000, Horstead has learned the value of leading by example and being approachable as a leader through his deployment experience and time in service.
