Dependents of 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets received scholarships from the Special Forces Scholarship Fund on July 7 at the 1st SFG Regimental Mess on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The students pose with 1st Group Commander, Col. Guillaume Beaurpere (left) and Chief Command Warrant Officer, Warrant Officer Five Maurice Duclos (second from left) as well as fund co-chairs Col. (Ret.) Rick Thomas (second from right) and Col. (Ret.) Charles Higbee (right). A total of 22 students earned scholarships from the 1st SFG Special Forces Scholarship Fund.
