Colonel James “Rob” Salome, Fort Campbell’s garrison commander for the past two years, addresses attendees at a retirement ceremony Friday held moments before he relinquished command of Fort Campbell to Col. Joseph Kuchan. Both Salome and Kuchan had served with the 101st Airborne Division before becoming garrison commander.
