Sailors and Marines participate in a half marathon race sponsored by Helicopter Marine Medium Squadron 165 (Reinforced) of the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit during inclement weather aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu. The race raised more than $3600 for the Semper Fi Fund, which helps support injured Marines. Peleliu is the flagship of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, which is returning to its homeport of San Diego after a seven-month deployment.
