HMS Chiddenfold prepares to pull along side Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship Lyme Bay prior to rafting during a joint exercise. Rafting occurs when two ships pull close to each other in open water to transfer supplies through the use of a gangway. Chiddenfold is part of Combined Task Force 151 deployed in support of maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
