An MV-22B Osprey aircraft with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, also known as the “Red Dragons,” prepares to depart from Marine Corps Base Hawaii, April 19, 2017, to begin a deployment to Australia in support of Marine Rotational Force – Darwin. This marks the first trans-Pacific flight from Hawaii to Australia for the aircraft and the first deployment for VMM-268 since the squadron moved from MCAS Miramar, California, to Hawaii.
