Chief Petty Officer Saul Delacruz, a damage controlman, assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Crommelin (FFG 37), leads a team of U.S. sailors as they meet Cambodian sailors before boarding a Royal Cambodian Navy patrol craft to conduct a damage control training exchange. The exchange is the first part of a two-day Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Cambodia 2010 training session to learn procedures and share best practices of corresponding navies. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance force readiness.
