MANAMA, Bahrain (April 12, 2017) Lt. Cmdr. Roosevelt White poses for a photo in front of USS Gladiator (MCM 11) after he assumed command during a change of command ceremony at Naval Support Activity Bahrain. Gladiator, part of U.S. Naval Force Central Command's Task Force (TF) 52, is one of four Avenger-class MCM ships home-ported in Manama. TF 52 provides command and control of all mine warfare in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations, which encompasses 2.5 million miles of water area including the Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, Red Sea and parts of the Indian Ocean.
