Canadian air force Capt. Cameron Fisher, next to rotors, and U.S. Army Sgt. Tommy Rogers, from B Company, 1st Battalion, 189th Aviation Regiment, perform pre-flight checks on a CH-47 Chinook helicopter prior to flying a mission to recover wreckage from a downed U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet at Fallon Naval Air Station, Nev., Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010. Soldiers from the 189th Av. Regt. were working with the Canadian CH-47 crews as a way to provide refresher training for the Canadians prior to their upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. Recovering the F/A-18 wreckage gave them hands-on experience in a real-world slingload mission.
