    II Marine Expeditionary Force

While on a patrol to find known enemy egress and ingress routes, Cpl. Jonathan Eckert, a military working-dog handler, attached to India Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 2, and his black lab, Bee, enjoy a moment of relaxation after clearing a compound in Kajaki, Sept. 29. Camped out of Forward Operating Base Zeebrugge, the Marines of India Battery often patrol the area numerous times daily to eliminate the enemy’s freedom of movement, with Bee near the front, hunting for improvised explosives.
