Marines and sailors of 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force descend the loading ramp of the WestPac Express after arriving at the Subic Bay Free Port Oct. 14. The Marines and sailors are part of the more than 400 U.S. personnel aboard the HSV who have arrived here to participate in bilateral exercises Talon Vision and Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) FY 2007. The exercises will take place Oct. 16-31 and are designed to improve interoperability, increase readiness, and continue the professional relationships between the U.S. and Philippine Armed Forces. The WestPac Express is a high-speed vessel leased to the U.S. Navy to support III Marine Expeditionary Force operations.
