CONSTANTA Romania – A Soldier from 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, spikes a volleyball, Feb. 9, 2017 during a tournament at Mihail Kogalniceanu (MK) Air Base in Romania. The Soldiers won five of their seven games against other teams from MK. The first group of Soldiers from 1st Bn., 8th Inf. Regt. arrived in Romania last week from Poland where they received their equipment that had been shipped from Fort Carson. The rest of the unit, and their equipment is scheduled to arrive in country next week. 1st Bn., 8th Inf. Regt. will spend the next eight-months training in Romania and Bulgaria in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
