Underwater archeologist Alexis Catsambis prepares to dive as fellow archeologist George Schwarz hands him an underwater video camera. Both archeologists, assigned to Naval History and Heritage Command, are conducting the excavation of the U.S. sloop-of-war Scorpion. The ship was scuttled in the Patuxtent River to avoid capture by British forces during the War of 1812.
