AFRL completed a series of tests to enable the use of the Terahertz Coating Thickness tool, shown here mounted on a robotic arm along with a spray attachment, for F-35 inlet production. This tool is a non-contact, non-destructive device that allows users to measure coating thickness quickly and easily without risk of damage to coating surfaces.
