U.S. Army Spc. Jessica Rivera-Mendoza, a member of 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team’s mild traumatic brain injury clinic, from New Castle, Del., and U.S. Army Capt. Erik Johnson, an occupational therapist at the mTBI clinic, from Little Rock, Ark., are among the first to help setup and staff Afghanistan’s first mTBI clinic, located at Forward Operating Base Shank in June of this year.
