Coast Guardsmen awarded achievement medal for life-saving actions

U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officers 3rd Class Kyle Camaiore and Jonathan McKinney, both aviation maintenance technicians stationed at Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii, were awarded the Coast Guard Achievement Medal Oct. 3, 2016, for their heroic actions performed while attending flight engineer school in Tampa, Florida. Camaiore and McKinney saved a woman's life after witnessing a vehicle accident and improvising a tourniquet to stop blood loss. (U.S. Coast Guard photo)
