Sergeant Tim Dobbins, a 26-year-old native of Confluence, Pa., swears his allegiance to the Marine Corps for another four-year tour of duty as his commanding officer, Lt. Col. Mike Lepson of Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) administers the Oath of Enlistment during a brief reenlistment ceremony here June 12. Dobbins, a motor transportation operator by trade, currently serves as part of the battalion personal security detail. Shortly after returning stateside, he will report to the Motor Transport Instruction School aboard Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., where he will serve as an instructor. "There's a job to be finished," Dobbins said when asked why he chose to re-enlist. "I was over here when we started this thing and I'll be here when it's done." Dobbins, a 2003 graduate of Turkey Foot Valley Area High School, has deployed four times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; this is his first deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
