U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Erik Brown, canvassing recruiter for Recruiting Substation Manchester, New Hampshire, tosses the coin at the start of the Londonderry vs. Pinkerton high school football game, Sept. 23, 2016, at the Londonderry High School Football Field. The game is part of the Great American Rivalry Series, a series of high school football games between schools with historic sports rivalries. During and after the game, the Marines and GARS recognized football players with the highest GPA of their teams and players that contributed most to the game and the sport as a whole.
