Coast Guard rescues downed aircraft pilot near Kotzebue, Alaska

A Piper Cub airplane overturned approximately 12 miles north of Kotzebue, Alaska, Sept. 25, 2016. A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew, forward deployed to Forward Operating Location Kotzebue, located and rescued the pilot, who was reported uninjured, and transported him to Kotzebue.
