Cookie Monster engages with the children in the audience during the Sesame Street/USO Experience for Military Families Sept. 20 in the School Age Center. The USO sponsored the show and Children Youth School Services hosted the production. This was the first time the Sesame Street Show has performed at Fort Lee. The show is the longest running entertainment tour in USO history. The tour is designed to help with challenges with being in a military family. The tour has taken its message to more than 540,000 troops and military families and performed more than 1,000 shows on 149 military installations in 33 states and 11 countries.
