Lance Cpl. Allen Washington takes accountability of gear at the Repairable Issue Point warehouse on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Sept. 20, 2016. Washington, a warehouse Marine with 3rd Marine Logistics Group, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Maintenance Battalion, is one of the roughly 15 Marines that manage warehouse gear accountability and exchanges. The RIP allows Marines with broken gear to exchange it for new or refurbished replacements from nearly anywhere in the Pacific. Washington is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.
