FORT MEADE, Md. – Cpl. Matthew Atwood is enrolled at the Defense Information School to become a 46Q, public affairs specialist. He stands in the hall of DINFOS reviewing notes before a graded practical exercise. Upon completion, Atwood will have attained skills in news writing, military public affairs, photojournalism, feature writing, web page design, and desktop publishing.
