Lance Cpl. Alexander S. McGee prepares to rush down range during live-fire training, July 26, 2016, on Motutapu Island, Tonga, during a multi-national, bilateral exercise as part of Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The service members conducted basic infantry and live-fire infantry training, with assistance from combat rubber raiding crafts to operationalize USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2), to increase interoperability and relations. McGee, from Owensboro, Kentucky, is a mortarman with Task Force Koa Moana and is originally assigned to Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
