Staff Sgt. April Bryant, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade, moonlights as a semi-professional football player. The advanced individual training platoon sergeant is a wide receiver and safety with the Richmond Black Widows team scheduled to play in the Women’s Football Alliance title game July 22 in Pittsburgh. Additionally, Bryant was selected to play in the all star game that is scheduled the next day.
