Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, she graduated from Indian River High School where she played soccer in a striker position. After graduating she enlisted two weeks later, attending Coast Guard Boot Camp. After Thirteen weeks of engineering school she reported to Key West where she currently patrols the Caribbean Sea.
