Sheila Weirth, justice advisor for the Justice Sector Support Program, discusses operations of the justice system with Chief Judge Abdul Hanif Ubiad of Farah, and the Farah Provincial Reconstruction Team in Farah, Afghanistan, April 3. JSSP and the PRT met with the Farah Chief Judge and Chief Prosecutor Abdul Ghafar to obtain an assessment of the current judicial situation in the province. JSSP also assisted in conducting a seminar to over twenty local judges, prosecutors, members of the Criminal Investigation Department, and members of the Ministry of Justice, which focuses on the Constitution of Afghanistan and the Elimination of Violence Against Women Law.
