Sergeant Kenya Austin from the 5th Medical Brigade learns the correct method of cutting away contaminated clothing from her instructor Joel Willis. Sergeant Austin is a Patient Administration Specialist 68G attending the Medical Regulating Officer course at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School. In this training exercise, students learn up-to-date chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) patient care and management in a contaminated environment. Students receive hands-on training on the different steps of decontaminating a patient prior to receiving treatment in a chemical biological protective shelter (CBPS).
