Petty Officer 1st Class Richard Bellock (left), assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, Supply Dept., and his son, Petty Officer 3rd Class Justin Koontz, assigned to NMCB 133's Charlie Company, have the rare opportunity to reunite at Camp Krutke in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Koontz is just arriving in Afghanistan for his deployment with NMCB 133, while Bellock will soon be finishing his deployment with NMCB 74. Bellock, of Lake Butler, Fla., has two sons who have joined him in naval service: Justin Koontz, who has served for three years and is currently deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Seaman Thomas Koontz, currently attending Electronics Technician "C" school in Great Lakes, Ill.
