Sgt. Joseph Mann, from Philadelphia, an air traffic controller for Company F, 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Division-Center, directs traffic at the Taji airfield, March 10. Mann recently won the Army Aviation Association of America ATC of the year award - beating participants Army-wide - for his superior performance controlling traffic in 2009.
