Key leaders for Task Force 76 brief distinguish visitors on the details of Vibrant Response, at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, May 13, 2016. Among the visitors were Maj. Gen. Daniel L. York, reserves forces director, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), United States Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Peter Lennon, deputy commanding general for Support, U.S. Army Reserve Command, Brig. Gen. Pablo Estrada, land component commander for the Michigan Army National Guard, Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Breck, 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support), and Mr. Jerome Hatfield, Regional Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency Region II. Participants came together to coordinate and integrate information the exercise. Vibrant Response is an annual exercise designed to prepare U.S. Army North to interact with multiple agencies to cope with a nuclear bomb detonation. The participating elements conducted the exercise program, which tested the capabilities of military, civilians and federal response forces while responding to a catastrophic domestic incident.
