Iraqi air force Squadron 3 launches all six of their aircraft from Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, March 5. This launch is a surge flight operation in support of the upcoming national Iraqi elections, March 7. This week marks the first time the Iraqi air force will fly an all-Iraqi effort in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance in support of an Iraqi election.
