CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan- Jason Comeaux, left, teaches Lance Cpl. Maresea Potts, a warehouse clerk with Combat Logistics Battalion, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, how to breathe through an air regulator during Underwater Egress Training April 12, 2016, at the Camp Hansen swimming pool in Okinawa, Japan. UET is designed to train Marines to escape downed aircraft in open water. Prior to each deployment, the 31st MEU is thoroughly trained in a number of unique capabilities during a fast-paced workup cycle. This type of training allows the 31st MEU to be continually ready, even while MEU is in garrison on Okinawa. Comeaux, a native of Rayne, Louisiana, is an UET instructor on Camp Hansen. Potts is a native of Albany, Georgia. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Carl King Jr. /Released)
