PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 22, 2016) -- Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Jacob Fitzgerald, from Redding, Calif., operates a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) dispatched from the guided-missile destroyer USS William P. Lawrence (DDG 110). Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific, William P. Lawrence, commanded by Cmdr. Walter C. Mainor, is operating as part of the John C.
