Staff Sgt. Dennis Cates, from Campton, Ky., a combat engineer with U.S. Army Alaska’s Breacher Company, 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division and the 4-25th Airborne Task Force, helps direct role-players who want to be evacuated from the notional Republic of Atropia to the U.S. during Joint Readiness Training Center scenario training at Fort Polk, La., Feb. 18, 2016. Being an Alaska-based airborne unit, 4-25th will stay a rapidly-deployable, tailorable asset for the commander of U.S. Army Pacific.
