Sgt. Nicholas Williams, a paralegal specialist from Leavenworth, Kan., competes in a pull up challenge Dec. 26 at Contingency Operating Base Adder, Iraq. Williams was part of a team representing Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division for the 4th Special Troop Battalion's Banner Day, pitting companies within the battalion against one another in sporting events that included softball, flag football and Army Physical Fitness Test challenges. The 4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division "Highlander" is deployed out of Fort Bliss, Texas. The Highlander Brigade advises and assists Iraqi security forces in Dhi Qar, Maysan, and Muthanna provinces.
