Col. Andrew Doehring, Deputy Commanding Officer of the 11th Theater Aviation Command, presents the command team from 2-58 Airfield Operations Battalion (AOB), Lt. Col. Daniel McClintock and Command Sgt. Maj. Alan Mason with the top reenlistment award, Dec. 14. The top reenlistment award for the command is based on total reenlistment percentage for the year, 2-58 AOB had the highest percentage for the entire year of 2015 by achieving 137% of their overall assigned reenlistment mission. 2-58 AOB is a direct reporting unit to the 11th Theater Aviation Command. The 11th Theater Aviation Command (TAC) is the only aviation command in the Army Reserve. The 11th TAC has two missions, functioning as both a warfighting headquarters and as a functional command. As warfighting command, the 11th TAC provides command & control, staff planning, and supervision for two aviation brigades and one air traffic service battalion.
